Garage Door Repair FAQs
Do you offer same-day garage door repair?
Yes, in most of the cities we serve, including all of Orange County and the nearer parts of LA, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. For homes further out, we'll book a time that works for you. Call (714) 880-7574 and we'll let you know when we can be there.
Do you charge for a garage door estimate?
No, estimates are free, and you get a firm price before any work starts. Many repairs can be priced over the phone once you describe what the door is doing.
Can I open my garage door with a broken spring?
No. Don't run the opener, and don't try to lift the door by hand. Without a working spring to carry its weight, the door can come down hard. Leave it where it is, park outside and give us a call.
Are you a licensed garage door contractor?
Yes. Mighty Garage Doors is a licensed and insured California garage door contractor. You get the same careful, professional work whether we're replacing a spring or installing a new door.
Do new garage door openers need a battery backup in California?
Yes. Under California law SB-969, residential garage door openers sold or installed since July 1, 2019 must include a battery backup. Every opener we install has one. Openers installed before that date don't have to be replaced.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency garage door repair?
Yes. Our emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights and weekends. If your door is stuck open, a spring has snapped or your car is trapped inside, call and you'll talk to the family that runs the business. For estimates and scheduled work, our office is open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm.
